Uncommon Courage Awards

Our goal is to recognize High School Seniors, Young Adults (18-25), and Youth Advocates who have overcome adversity in the Northern Colorado area.

December 11, 2010, 9am-11am at the Group Real Estate Building on Harmony Road in Fort Collins.

Categories for nominations are:

Overcoming Adversity Award Best Buy- Fort Collins
This award honors a high school senior who is recognized for their efforts to rise above personal adversity in order to achieve their goals.

Independence Award American Legion Post #15- Loveland
This award honors an individual 18-25 years old who has successfully transitioned from out-of-home placement into independent living.

Community Leader Award Butterfield Family
This award recognizes a high school senior involved in community service whose work demonstrates extraordinary initiative and tenacity; significantly impacts a target group or individuals; and whose character and attitude inspire others.

Youth Advocate of the Year Best Buy- Loveland
This award celebrates exemplary work on behalf of youth including but not limited to social work, education, public service, or child care. Nominee can be an individual or group.
